Ingredients (for 2 servings)
- 2 portions of RamenStar noodles
- 2 packets of RamenStar broth (shoyu, miso or shio)
- 1–2 cloves of fresh garlic
- 2–3 cm fresh ginger
- 2 spring onions
- 2 handfuls of fresh spinach (or frozen spinach)
- 4–6 shiitake mushrooms (fresh or dried, or alternatively button mushrooms)
- a little Kizami Nori (optional)
- 1 tsp chili oil or sesame oil (optional)
- Toppings of your choice: Menma, corn, egg, sesame
preparation
Prepare the toppings: Slice the spring onions into thin rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger. Slice the shiitake mushrooms and wash the spinach.
Sauté garlic, ginger & shiitake mushrooms: Heat some oil in a small pot, briefly sauté garlic, ginger and shiitake mushrooms until fragrant.
Broth & Noodles: Bring 480 ml of water to a boil, stir in the broth. Add RamenStar noodles and spinach, cook for 2 minutes.
To serve: Divide the noodles, broth, and vegetables between two bowls. Garnish with spring onions, nori, chili oil, and other toppings.
