Tips from Ramenstar

A major appeal of Hiyashi Chūka lies in its colorful toppings. Other classic ingredients include:

⭐ Meat: Finely sliced ham or chicken breast.
⭐ Vegetables: Cucumber julienne and fresh tomato slices.
⭐ Egg: Omelet cut into fine strips (Kinshi Tamago).
⭐ Seaweed: Wakame or pickled seaweed varieties.
⭐ Crunch & Finish: Edamame, sesame seeds, spring onions, and a dollop of Japanese mustard (Karashi) or mayonnaise for a kick.

Tip: For a vegan option, tofu, avocado, or grilled vegetables taste excellent.
